Continuation of Patience!

2011 was a year of nothing but test after test…I took on a responsibility that I never saw coming. I am now my mother’s caretaker, overseer, all which comes along with Power of Attorney. My mom has a memory loss situation, which I never saw coming. People call it Alzheimer, a word I rather not use…It is amazing how you grow up with brothers and sisters for those who have them and then when it comes down to showing your real love for someone who needs you especially your mother…they just fade away, sometimes they want to tell you what to do, but they do not want to do the labor themselves…So many people who have went through what I am going through told me this was going to happen, but that is okay, because this is my Mom.

I Thank God for giving me this test to help me practice His Patience…Yes, we say, “Patience is a Virtue”…I heard someone tell me that there is No such thing as “Patience”, that people fake it…I wish I knew how you fake Patience. As long as you are living in this world you are practicing Patience. Man force you to have patience, God gives you a choice. God Patience is based on Love.

How man forces you to have patience?
I will give you a few examples;
When you come to a stop sign, “you stop and wait your turn”.
When you go shopping, “you wait in line until your turn”.
When you go to the hairdresser or Barbara shop “you wait hours until it is your turn”.
That is just a few, you can figure out the rest for yourself; so when someone tells you “there is no such thing as Patience” just say to them, are you alive? If they say, “Yes” then you are practicing Patience.

Some people might say, “10 years is a long time”. Well I say, “Patience is a Virtue”.
The tenth year I was ready to give up on something and just when I was ready to let go, it happened. What I realize, it was not the right time and when the time came I appreciated it more. No, I am not going to say what it was, but had I not had the Virtue of Patience, I would never have known. All I am trying to say, sometimes some things are worth the wait…. so don’t be in a rush you just might miss what you have coming to you!

Blessing in the STORM

I tell you...there is always a Blessing in the Storm!
We never lack, but we have wants and desires, just be careful as to what they are.
Patience is a Virtue....it took some time, but God knew what my wants were...I gave them to Him and left them there!  I have the trees I wanted removed and a new kitchen floor.

Amazing what God can do with a little snow....

Rainy Day

What do we do on a Rainy Day?  
Watch a movie, play video games or how about reading a good book... that's what I would do and that is exactly what I am going to do just before bedtime.

People always look at a Rainy Day as if it's their last day on Earth...I say, "Be Glad you are still here to see a Rainy Day".  Life is too short whether we know it or Not! Everyday is a Bless Day...to just wake up and be able to breathe again and do what you did not do yesterday, you have a chance to do it today.

So when someone say, "what a dreary day"...you say, "No, What a Bless Day" I am not depressed and the weather does not define what mood I will be in!

SEE the LIGHT?

Have you every felt just as you were making that break through, here comes another Push.
Life is full of pushing. But I am an Ultimate Woman, I am a fighter, I am victorious and I am a conqueror.

WOW I see the light!
There is always a light you just have to stay on and don't fall off. Pushing is what makes us strong. If you give in,  you will never see the light. So I will continue my journey as it is set out for me and I will always see the light. Why? Because I am an Ultimate Woman!

PUSH and PULL

I am an Ultimate Woman, Project Engineer by day, and an Entrepreneur All Day. Trying to make it in this economy that keeps pushing and pulling me to make it through. Every day that is giving to me I look at it as an opportunity to continue the Push and Pull, until one day that Push will Pull me through. Then I can say, I have passed the test of Life.

Brown Knee High Suede Boots

I am glad now I had the opportunity to wear my new brown knee high suede boots. I thought I looked cute with my plaid brown romper dress above knee length. Fall is the best for dressing any way you feel...only if you do not care what people think.  Living in Connecticut you would have to be a person of leadership in your own life and not let what people say or think hinder who you are...Connecticut is a conservative state and I am from New York and fashion is whatever we want it to be...not what others think it should be.
Oh, let's not forget, we need those trendy handbags and accessories to go with that Fall Fashion.

Summer in the Fall

I am so glad we get one more Summer 85ish weather...I can wear my summer purple dress one more time. Purple is my favorite color, it's a color of Passion and Royalty. I hope I can find a lot of purple for the Fall Fashion in 2011 and a nice Trendy Handbag to go with my fall look.

Well I am very excited; can not wait to see the new Fall Fashion in 2011.

I love clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories. Fall is a season that no matter what you wear, how many colors you use and how you layer it, it looks Good!

Fall brings many colors together, don’t you agree?

Fall is a Beautiful time of the year…the leaves are turning colors and falling from the trees like no care in the world. The night air is clear, dry and sometimes still. If I had to pick a season it would be the fall, but I do like the summer too. Fall is vibrant. You see a lot of beauty in the fall, whether it's Fashion or just that day.

Tried a New Trend!

I would like to say...I tried several fashion trends this summer...mostly with the shoulders and back out and some cleavaage. ..it wasn't too bad when it was 90ish degrees...but I did not care to show too much cleavage so I purchased a few tub top bras, which actually added to my trendy fashion. Most of the dresses you purchase today for the summer have too much cleavage showing...a little in the front is ok but you know today's dresses reveals t too much cleavage for me. I am not ashame of my body, I just feel we women (young and old) need to leave something to the Males "Imagination" don't you think?

Remember there are ways to trendy up your Fashion!

Personal style and life style “Women life with Fashion”.  Let me first define what Fashion is to me...Fashion is a life of styles and a way of life.  Fashion changes more frequently than in most other fields of human life.  Fashion has become a way for people to create an identity for themselves...If you are with the latest then you are somebody (illusion)...Once you know who you are inside then whatever you wear, you can make it work!

What is "Trendy Fashion"?

In today’s society “trendy fashion” is less clothes and more skin. 

In my time “trendy fashion” was sophisticated, elegant and glamorous.  A woman who was confident in her appearance and did not allow society to dictate what she would wear. We have given society the authorization to make the decision of what we will wear and how we should look! Call me old fashion, old school, but I do not believe that showing more skin symbolizes that sophisticated woman.

Society has changed what a “Trendy Fashion” female appearance should look like “right before our eyes”. Are we walking around unconscious?
